CobaltRay, along with Korea’s KCP, USYS, and IBEXLAB, signed a contract with Indonesia’s TiPhone on Nov. 19 at Connect.W which runs at DDP Seoul Nov 19-21. CobaltRay and the other three Korean companies agreed to provide technical support and POS equipment worth 40 million US dollars to TiPhone.

TiPhone is a vendor company which Indonesia’s public telecom company Telkom Indonesia created. It is currently the largest vendor company in Indonesia with 300 thousand salesmen and 8,000 agencies supplying USIM to Telkom.

CobaltRay had agreed to provide its Smart POS equipment and payment solution to TiPhone, which can supply CobalRay’s items within Indonesia. They also agreed to divide the transaction fee which comes from making payment with smart POS.

It started as an OEM/ODM company for large-size companies in Korea and other countries, and succeeded developing all-in-one Smart POS in Android tablet PC form. It is now supplying ESL(Electronic Shelf Label), POS, and DID one-stop retail market price promotion solution called WonPrix globally.

It is exporting its products to the North American region, and also to Taiwan, China, and East Africa. Recently, it signed a contract with a super-sized telecom vendor called TiPhone of Indonesia, and is supplying its smart payment device in large quantity. In Connect.W, it is going to sign an MOU with this company to cooperate in card payment business.

CobaltRay has the capability to provide the platform to operate the business of the implementation of turn key payment solution, with the co-development of the technology from Korea, Hong Kong, and China.
